Another Monday, another week!

But today is a special Monday for me and for many other bloggers (I'm not actually a blogger, I'm just learning!). 

As you can see on the right side of my blog, there is a new icon, just below my Etsy shop . Is the icon that officially define me as a " Blogging your way " student! I'm really happy about this e-course, "created by American freelance writer, pro blogger and interior design consultant Holly Becker, who also founded decor8 ". I've discovered Holly few years ago and her blog is for me a daily inspiration. I'm part of her Flickr group and I had the honor to being featured on her blog with my pictures a couple of times ( 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 , 5 , 6 ). 

As you can read on the presentation page, "this self-paced e-course will motivate and inspire you to start blogging or, if you already blog, to transform it into all that you imagine it to be". And that's what I'm looking for! The co-teacher is Leslie Shewring from " A Creative Mint " and " Color Me Pretty ". She's an ex-student and a very talented stylist and excellent photograper. 

I can't wait to start, meet new people, listen the podcasts and..do my homework in the best way!!

Another Monday, another week!

Today is a big day for me and for IDA Interior LifeStyle.
Finally, after a few months of thinking, today I've opened my own Etsy shop !
At the moment the store has 13 items, but I've decided to adopt a very personal "politic". As you can read on my Esty welcome "...all the items that you see at this shop are examples. If you decide to buy something, I will create a unique new item piece for you with similar colors and same size. This is to offer you the opportunity to have a uniquely designed and customized object".
I choose this way because I would like to make something special for every customer, and in the other hand I can't make items and Collected here in my apartment Them!

Today a great day for me and for IDA LifeStyle Interior.

Finally, after several months of reflection, today officially opened my Etsy store !

When the store displays 13 products, but I decided to adopt a "policy" very personal. As you can read in my Esty welcome "... t ll the items you see on display here are examples. If you decide to buy something, I will create a new object

with similar colors and same extent. This is to offer the opportunity to have a unique and personalized .

I chose this way because I'd like to do something special for each client, and not on the other hand I can create a stock and hold it all here at home!

So, here I am! Ready for all your needs! And do not forget to leave a comment about the store, I need your suggestions for making it even better!

All my colors

Finally, after a long (and not finished yet) winter, the first rays of light are back in my blue apartment. 
I've tought that is the right moment to change the color of my daybed..from blue to white! My grandma gave me a beautiful white bedspread that she bought many years ago in Sardegna (one of the most beautiful place that I ever seen). It is hand made and I like it in my living room!


I'm also proud to introduce to you my new crochet work, a pouf that I've created last week. I'm always looking for places where to put my things, like the computer, my magazines, the crochet works..so, when I went to Ikea last week I've bought this pouf and I've decided immediately to cover it with crochet. I think it is really nice, and you?

Finalmente, after a long (and unfinished) winter, the first rays of light are back again in my flat blue.
So I thought it was the right time to change the color of my daybed from blue to white ..! My grandmother gave me a beautiful white bedspread that he bought many years ago in Sardinia (one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen). E 'handmade and I love my living!


I am also proud to introduce my new crochet, I made a footstool last week. I am always looking for places to put my things as the computer, my magazines, crochet work .. so when I went to 'Ikea \u200b\u200blast week I bought this ottoman and I immediately decided to cover it crochet. I think it's really cute, and you?

Crochet, lamps and owls

I have to confess to serious addiction .. ok, Actually More Than One. Crochet, lamps and owls!
My grandma, that knows me well, just went to Egypt (yes, not a very good moment, but she was at the sea) and she bought me two adorable owls! One is red and the other one is a cute little blue owl pendant that I'm wearing right now. The red one is perfect next to my new lamp. I've made this lamp yesterday, using this beautiful '70s fabric that I bought on Etsy ( here the shop ). When I saw it for the first time I tought that it would be perfect in my new studio..by the way, I start planning the fornitures arrangment! 
Now is time to go out, the sun (finally) is bright and shining!

I must confess a serious dependency on .. ok, actually more than one. Crochet, lamps and owls!
My grandmother, who knows me well, has just been in Egypt (yes, we say that the period was the best, but she was at sea in a quiet area) and bought me two adorable owls! One is red and the other is a cute little blue pendant that I'm wearing now. The red one is perfect next to my new lamp. I made this lamp yesterday, with this beautiful fabric 70s I bought on Etsy ( shop here). When I saw for the first time I thought it would be perfect in my new studio .. by the way, I start planning the layout!
Now it's time to leave, the sun (finally) is bright and shiny!

I'm not that kind of person that usually is lucky with this contests, but this time I've the lucky on my side!
The sweet Nikki sended me the prize, the beautiful book "Detaljer Hemma" (by Annika Huett and Ulft Huett Nilsson)..I like it so much!! The authors (husband and wife) explored Sweden, looking for fascinating details and they collected a lot of pictures that now you can find in this amazing book.

What Is Crushed Vertebrae?

An unexpected inspiration

One of the thing that I like most in my job, is get in touch with new people. And I'm very lucky, because all these people are very talented and they represent a great inspiration for me.
I consider myself like a sponge, I'm always, continuosly, looking for something new and I'm fashinated from talented persons. Don't misunderstand me, I'm equally fashinated from big and small things..for example my grandma is a professional dressmaker and when I was around 10, I've spent many afternoons with her just watching her working at dresses or something else. 
Anyway, I was saying that I like to discover new ideas and inspirations. And that's what I did! A few months ago I've done a photo shoot in Den Bosch (a very nice city near to Eindhoven) and I've met Simone , a young student in law, that was really nice with me (we are now friends!). {If you want to see the photo shoot you can buy february  Casa Facile  issue and discover her eclectic apartment}. That day I've seen a gorgeous idea: a wood panel covered by PIP wall paper! I really love PIP Studio  ( http://www.pipstudio.com/ ) , but I have never thought to buy some wall paper, because generally I don't like the wall paper on the wall. At the same time I was thinking how to improve in some way my bedroom wardrobe..it is ugly as sin! Is an Ikea closet, easy to assemble and cheap..our first choise when we moved here one year ago. Simone gave me the idea (and she didn't know!): cover the  wardrobe! I did it, and I've also spread around in the apartment other PIP birds!

One of the things I like best about my job is to get in touch with new people. And I'm very lucky, because all these people are very talented and are a great inspiration to me.

Do not get me wrong, they are equally fascinated by the small and big things .. for example my grandmother is a seamstress professional and when I was about 10 years or so 'there, I spent a lot of afternoons with her at her work on some clothes or something else.

But, back to the starting point, I was saying that I like to discover new ideas and inspirations. And that's what I did! A few months ago I did a photo shoot in Den Bosch (a very nice town near Eindhoven) and I met Simone, a young law student, which was really nice to me (now we became friends!).

That day I saw a wonderful idea: a wood panel covered with wallpaper PIP! I am a great fan of PIP Studio ( http://www.pipstudio.com/ ) , but I never thought about buying the paper wallpaper, because I do not really like the idea. At the same time I was thinking of somehow improving the Wardrobe I have in my bedroom ..

is really ugly as sin! It is an Ikea wardrobe, easy to install and inexpensive .. our first choice when we moved here a year ago. Simon gave me the idea (without his knowledge!): Covers the wardrobe! I did this and not happy, I also spread around other birds of PIP!

I have a very good news for all my owl-addicted friends ... I Have Another owl in my apartment! And I'm waiting to see The One That my grandma bought for me in Egypt.
But I really like this one, made by paper (in the picture is controlling the lamp shipping box!).

I have good news to all my friends-dependent owl owl .. I have another in my apartment! And I'm waiting to see what my grandmother bought for me in Egypt.
But this I like it so much, made ia paper (in the photo is checking the box the shipping of the lamp!).
